Greater importance can be attributed to the differences in papillae numbers and their arrangement on the miracidial terebratorium. According to SWART /1967/, there are four papillae on the terebratorium of Calicophoron calicophorum / fig. 7 /, and three along the axis in Paramphistomum microbothrium . Our observations, relating to P. daubneyi , practically agree with SWART's data, but the number of papillae and their arrangement in Diplodiscus subclavatum / fig. 8 / differs from those of the species examined so far. Summary Paramphistomum daubneyi eggs are covered with a flat, colourless, three-layer shell; the eggs are greenish-yellow. No direct relationship between egg and helminth size could be established . The process of embryo-formation takes 10-25 days at 27 °C. The hatching of the miracidium begins on the 10th and 11th days, and by the 15th day 70-80 per cent of the eggs are hatched. The number of the pigmentless epidermal cells of the miracidium agrees with the formula 6:8:4:2, characterizing in general the amphistoma. The epidermal structures of the terebratorium can be well used for distinguishing the higher taxa /family, genus/ in the complicated systematics of the amphistoma. SEY,0. : A Paramphistomum daubneyi Dinnik, 1962 petéjének, az embrionálódás folyamatának és a miracidium felépítésének vizsgálata Vizsgálatainkban a Paramphistomum daubneyi Dinnik, ly62 petéinek felépitését, az embrionálódás folyamatát, a miracidium kifejlődését, valamint morfológiáját tanulmányoztuk. E faj hazai körülmények közt történő fejlődése, a fejlődés biológiája, ökológiai igényei ezideig ismeretlenek voltak.
