Synopeas neglectus sp. n. (Figs 75-78) Female - Length 0.9-1.0 mm. Black, antennae and legs dark brown; base of all tibiae slightly lighter, segments 1-4 of all tarsi light brown. Head from above (Fig. 75) 2.0 x as wide as long, fully 1.1 x as wide as mesosoma, distinctly and almost uniformly reticulate, hardly transversely so; occiput evenly rounded, without carina; OOL equal to diameter of lateral ocellus. Head in frontal view 1.2 x as wide as high; antenna (Fig. 76) with A 1 0.7 x as long as height of head. Mesosoma 1.4 x as long as wide, fully 1.1 x as high as wide. Sides of pronotum reticulate in upper half, rest smooth. Mesoscutum with sparse hairs, faintly reticulate-coriaceous, smoother posteriorly, without notauli; hind margin medially with a brownish, hardly swollen, prolongation to base of scutellum; scuto-scutellar grooves with rather dense, long hairs. Mesopleuron smooth. Scutellum (Fig. 77) medially smooth and bare, laterally densely hairy, evenly rounded. Metapleuron smooth and bare in about anterior third, rest with dense pilosity. Propodeal carinae short, dark and fused. Fore wing 0.75 x as long as body, 2.4 x as long as wide, clear, without marginal cilia. Hind wing 5.0 x as long as wide; marginal cilia slightly more than 0.4 width of wing. Metasoma (Fig. 78) as long as head and mesosoma combined, slightly narrower than mesosoma, 1.0 (holotype) to 1.4 x as wide as high. Hind margin of T2, and T3-T6 entirely, with faint reticulate microsculpture, sometimes almost smooth; apical tergites with some fine hairs. Material examined-Holotype female: Mongolia, Bajanchongor aimak, oasis Echin gol, 90 km NE of border post Caganbulag, 95Ó m, 27-28. VI. 1967. Paratypes: 2 females, same data as holotype.
