Distribution: Europe, Mongolia, Manchuria and Korea (new to her fauna). 56. Crossocerus (Crossocerus) emarginatus KOHL, 1915) Grabro (Grossocerus) pacificus GUSSAKOVSKIJ, 1932, p. 25 (çf, Ussuri); TSUNEKI, 1947, p. 290 ( O çf, Seoul). Grossocerus (Grossocerus) emarginatus: TSUNEKI, 1959a, p. 71, 76(9^, Japan and Korea). Specimen examined: 1 9> Prov. South Pyongan, Lyong-ak, san 25 km W from Pyongyan, 20. VHI. 1971 (No. 157). Distribution: Mongolia, Manchuria, Ussuri and Amur regions, Korea and Japan. Remarks. —• In this specimen the disc of the area dorsalis is almost completely smooth and polished, only very weak oblique striae can be seen posteriorly in certain light. 57. Crossocerus (Crossocerus, sect. Stenocrabro) varius LEPELETIER et BRÜLLE, 1834 Crossocerus (Grossocerus) varus: TSUNEKI, 1954, p. 64, 72 (Japan, Saghalien and Kuriles). Specimen examined: 1 çf, Prov. Ryang-gang, Plateau Chann-Pay, Sam-zi-yan, 1600 m, 25. VHI. 1971 (No. 197). Distribution: Europe, Algeria, Mongolia and Japan, new to Korea. 58. Crossocerus (Crossocerus) wesmaeli parvicorpus ssp. n. 9 cf The present subspecies differs from the typical form in the markedly smaller body size and also in the much paler yellow marks, but the latter character may be due to fading by conservation Length 9 3.5—4.5, rf 3.5 mm. Holotype: 9» Prov. South Pyongan, Pyongyan, Hotel garden, 10. VIII. 1971 (No. 157). - Paratypes: 6 $ 1 çf , do., 11-31. VHI. 1971 (Nos. 162, 166, 176, 190, 225). The tjmical form is widely distributed over Europe, Turkestan, Manchuria and Japan. Var. a: In one of the specimens collected on August 12, the punctures on the head and thorax are much sparser, the scutellum immaculate and the body is much smaller (3.5 mm), but otherwise no difference can be observed from the others. 59.
