Szemere, L.: First data of some macroscopic fungi from Hungary

ANNALES HISTORICO-NATURALES MUSEI NATIONALIS HUNGARICI Tomus 52. PARS BOTANICA 1960. First Data of Some Macroscopic Fungi from Hungary By L. SZEMÉRE, Hárskút In the present list, I present some first data on fungus species found in Hungary, and identified by me in 1927—1957. The 25 new data, shown in 1922—1926, had been published in my paper, titled ,,Recently found Macroscopic Fungi in Hungary (Hazánkból újabban kimutatott lemezes-bélésű gombák, Bot. Közi., 24,1927, p. 177—181). The Inocybe species were worked out in another paper, ,,The Inocybe Species of Hungary (À magyarországi Inocybe fajok, tekintettel az európai fajokra, Ann. Hist.-Nat. Mus. Nat. Hung., S. N. 6, 1955, p. 121—154). As concerns the family Polyporaceae, the data on their first Hungarian occurrences will be published by Z. I g m á n d y, together with his own findings. I made colored pictures of the discussed fungi ; a j>art of the material is deposited in the Herbarium of the Botanical Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. It is my duty to thank those also here, who helped my studies with their collecting activities. The most zealous friends, R. B o h u s and. G. B r e u e r, are no more among us ; I commemorate them with grateful reverence. Classis Ascomycetes, series Plectascales Elaphomyces mutabilis Vitt. Somogyfajsz, 27 Nov. 1954, Szemére (In Somogyfajsz, on a 293x50 m fringe of the woods of forest district Nr. 13, I registered 18 kinds of Hypogea, a considerable number in view of the fact that the number of the known subterranean fungi in Hungary is only 82 to date. For the sake of further research possibilities, I asked for the protection of the Council of Nature Preservation for this area, the so-called „Hypogea Reservation", until 1966). — Genea hispidula Berk, et Br., Somogyfajsz, 22 Nov. 1953, Szemére. — Terfezia leptoderma Tid. sensu Knapp, Somogyvár, 27 July 1951, S z e m e r e. (I found several specimens under an old oak in the courtyard of the forester's lodge near the gypsy village, Szávica. I found the species again in the same place on 16 August 1955.
