tively wide space from the posterior edge of the vertex. Head equals in length about -/3 of the length of the pronotal disk. Frontal arch slightly more prominent in the cfcf than in the QO. Face in the (fçf strongly impressed, in the ÇQ flattened, similarly as in the other species of this genus; the face is in both sexes covered with Jong, pale hairs. Posterior edge of the vertex usually more or less darkened. Fourth antennái joint equals in length 65'6"/u of the length of the third. The pale markings of the pronotal disk and of the hemelytra (fig. 1), although rather extended, are broken up into larger or smaller somewhat transverse fragments, the dark ground-colour being thus reduced to form a rather delicate network between them. Besides that there are scattered here and there very small pale and dark spotlets over the dark, resp. pale portions of the pattern. The pronotal disk shows an almost complete dark longitudinal middle-line. The margins of the protonal disk, as also the margins of the different parts of the hemelytra are narrowly bordered with dark. The posterior angle of the pronotal disk, as well as the inner angles of the clavi are pale. Membran al suture marked by an uncomplete pale line, which is accompanied distally by an also uncomplete dark stripe. Membrane marbled with pale and dark markings, showing in its pattern a fairly distinct outline of two membranal cells, resembling very much those which are usually found on the membranes of the Mwidae. Marginal area pale. Pronotal disk and hemelytra smooth, without rastration; hemelytra covered rather remotely with very short, pale hairs. All specimens which I have examined were macropterous. Pronotal disk almost I 1 /« times as wide as long, its lateral angles widely rounded. Pronotal keel distinctly visible on the anterior half of the pronotal disk, on the posterior one gradually disappearing. Lateral lobes of the prothorax (fig. 2) wide at the base, narrowing towards the end, their lower margin convex, the upper one slightly concave. Metasternal xiphus short and rather narrow, rounded at the apex, with slightly concave lateral margins. Fore legs shaped as in other species of this genus (fig. 3). Pala more than 2V« times longer than the tibia. Claw in the çfr? equal in length to about V- of the length of the pala. in the 99 me claw is comparatively slightly longer. The sexes show in the shape of the claw similar differences as in the other representatives of this genus. The long bristles of the pala are romotely inserted, being only about 8 in number in every row. Relative length of the various parts of intermediate and hind legs, expressed in "/,» of the length of the femur:
