Jaczewski, T.: Further redescriptions of Palearctic Corixidae

Intermediate claws remarcably shorter than the tarsi. Along the apical portion of the inner margin of the upper side of the hind femora extends a row consisting of a certain number of short spines, inserted in groups of 2—3 ; a similar feature is found in C. Bonsdorffi (C. S AHL«.) 1 The inferior surface of the hind femora is in its apical portion covered with numerous, scattered short spines. Rigth forceps seems to be completely absent. The left one is shaped as shown on fig. 4. Inner sheath of the penis simple at the end. Length 7—7.5 mm. For the present redescription I had before me specimens from Algyö in Hungary. This species can be easily distinguished from its allies by the pattern of the pronotal disk and of the hemelytra. as also by its larger size. The absence of the right for cepsis a very peculiar character, but without any doubt of a secondary nature. C. Rogenhoferi (FIEB.) agrees, however so strictly in all other morphological details with C. Bonsdorffi (C. SAHLB.) and C. coleoptrata (F.) that Í do not think it could he generically separated from them. Fig. L. Cymatia Rogenhoferi (Fibb.), hemelylron. X 15. Fig. 2. I had only two specimens of this species for examination, the following description is therefore somewhat uncomplete. 1 Cf. Ann. Mus. Pol. H. N, Warszawa; 111, 1924; p. 22, fig. 16. 1 Cf.
