X Kisalföld - X-10 Calvary from Veszkény
X-10 Calvary, Veszkeny The Calvary from Veszkény is peculiar in folk religion. The original was constructed at the beginning of the 19th century. Its figures are placed in an irregular way-. Mary on the post to the right of the crucified Jesus; on the left his apostle, John can be seen. Magdalene kneels at Christ's feet. The two thieves are on the outermost edge of the composition. The tin figures placed on the crucifixes of acacia were painted in 1980 by a naive painter in the vicinity of Pannonhalma.
