COMPOSITION: Each ampoule (10 ml) contains 0,500 g dl-potassium aspara­gin and 0,500 g dl-magnesium asparagin. Each coated tablet contains 0,175 g dl-potassium asparagin and 0,175 g dl-magnesium asparagin. INDICATION: Angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, cases of congestive heart failure resistant to digitalis, digitalis intolerantia, digi­talis intoxication. Prevention of myocardial infarction and stenocardial attacks. Rhythm disorders, such as tachyar­rhythmia, ventricular extrasystoles. PAIVANGIIV ampoules and coated tablets. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Acute and chronic renal insufficience. DOSAGE: 3 times daily 2 coated tablets or daily 2 ampoules diluted with 50 to 100 ml 5% glucose, administered by slow intra­venous injection in disturbances of coronary blood flow. For prophylaxis 3 times 1 coated tablet daily. In myocardial infarction 2 ampoules daily (one in the morning and one in the evening), diluted with 50 to 100 ml 5% glucose, adminis­tered as infusion. NOTE: If necessary, Strophanine or a digitalis preparation may be added to Panangin solution before infusion. It may be order­ed on account of the social insurance services.
