5. Újabb régészeti feltárások az aquincumi katonaváros nyugati szélén (Madarassy Orsolya)
felében. A 4. század elején viszont ez a terület már külterületnek számított, a visszabontott épület helyére már temetkeztek, a megmaradt falalapozásokat sírkertnek felhasználva. Az itt előkerült 4. századi feldúlt téglasírok a területünktől nyugatra lévő temető egyik parcellájához tartozhattak. A városrész feladásához és katonai jellegű átalakításához nyertünk újabb információt a Bécsi út 123. telek szondázó jellegű feltárásán. Az újkori rétegek alatt az 1999-ben (MADARASSY 2000, 46-55.) a Bécsi út 127. telken már megfigyelt, 268270 közé keltezhető cölöpkonstrukciós védműrendszer nyugati szélét sikerült dokumentálnunk. The building, established in the 2nd century, was reconstructed three times in the first half of the 3 rd century. At the beginning of the 4 th century, however, this region was already considered the outskirts of town. The area of the pulled down house was used for burials, and the remaining wall foundations formed part of graveyards. The violated brick graves from the 4 th century probably belonged to a section of the cemetery west of this territory. The test excavations on lot 123 Bécsi Road provided information on the abandonment and military reconstruction of the town district. We could observe the western edge of the post-structure defence works dated from between AD 268 and 270, discovered under modern layers on lot 127 Bécsi Road in 1999. (MADARASSY 2000, 46-55.)
