SZÁM. taken by Pirates or conveyed to or found in the ports of either of the Contracting Parties shall be delivered to their owners on payment of the expenses, should there be such, the amount to be determined by the competent tribunals when the rights of the proprietors shall be proved before these tribunals and the claim being made within the space of eigtheen months by the interested parties, by their attornies, or by the Agents of their respective Government. Article XIX. The present Treaty shall be in force for Ten years, counting from the day of the exchange of the Ratifications and if in one year after the expiration of this term, neither the one nor the other of the Two Contracting Parties shall have announced by official declarations its intention that it shall cease to have affect, the said Treaty will remain still obligatory during one year and so onward until the expiration of the twelve months which shall follow the official declaration in question at whatever time it may be made. Article XX. The present Treaty shall be ratified, and the Ratifications shall be exchanged at London in ten months or sooner if possible. In Witness whereof the respective Plenipotentiaries have signed the same and affixed thereto their respective seals. (L, S.) a szerződő felek egyikének kikötőibe hozatnak vagy azokban találtatnak, az illetékes törvényszékek által meghatározandó netán felmerült költségek megtérítése mellett tulajdonosaiknak visszaszolgáltatandó^, feltéve, hogy ezek tulajdonjoga az emiitett törvényszékek előtt bebizonyíttatott és a visszaszolgáltatás az érdeklett felek ügyvédeik, vagy az illető kormányok ügynökei által tizennyolcz hónap lefolyása alatt követeltetett. XIX. czikk. Jelen szerződés hatálya a megerősitő okmányok kicserélése napjától számított tiz évig tart, és ha egy év alatt ezen határidő lefolyta után a szerződő felek egyike sem jelentené ki hivatalos nyilatkozat utján a szerződés hatályának megszüntetése iránti szándékát, akkor, e szerződés még egy éven át, és ekként mindig tovább fenmarad, és pedig azon tizenkét hó lejártáig, melyek e hivatalos nyilatkozatra, akár mikor történt legyen az, következnek. XX. czikk. Jelen szerződés jóvá fog hagyatni és a jóváhagyási okmányok tiz hónap alatt, vagy ha lehet, még előbb Londonban fognak kicseréltetni. Ezek hiteléül a két fél meghatalmazottjai jelen szerződést aláirtak és pecsétjeikkel látták el. Kelt Londonban az Ur egyezernyolczszáz hetvenötödik évében június hó tizennyolczadikán. Beust, m. p.
