Ráduly Emil - Újvári Mária: A soproni Kecske-templomban feltárt, 17. század eleji női viselet kibontása
Műtárgyvédelem 36 The Disassembly of an Early 17th-century Women’s Attire from the Goat Church Sopron Emil Ráduly — Mária Újvári Coffin burial no. 12, which came to light during excavations at Sopron’s Goat Church and which contained clothing that is probably of value, was removed in situ. The find was later taken to the Ignác Tragor Museum in Vac. There the clothing was disassembled over a number of days. The primary cleaning and documenting of the different parts also took place. The study tells of the disassembly of the find, the operations involved in its cleaning, and the observations and experiences gained in the process. Owing to the relatively good condition of the find, detailed observations regarding burial customs at the time and the way bodies were laid out could also be made during the course of the work.
