7. Minta a középső pillér világos oldalából a lakkréteg eltávolítása után, A felső vékony jói elkülöníthető réteg átfestés.

8. Minta Krisztus ruhájának alsó részéből, tisztított, árnyékos felület. Jól kivehető az ecsethúzás nyoma. Az alsóbb rétegekben sötét szín található. Munkácsy erre festette fel még nedvesben a szinte tiszta ólomfehér réteget.

Sample from the lower section of Christ’s cloth. Cleansed, shady surface. Marks of a brush stroke can be clearly seen. A darker color may be seen in the lower layers. Munkácsy covered this layer with almost clear lead white while it was still wet.
