Báthy Géza Egy római kori bronztál restaurálása a felszínbe simuló átlapolás módszerével. A cikk a római birodalomban jelentős Pannónia provincia Sophianae városának késő római temetőjében feltárt bronztál restaurálását Írja le. A vékony töredékekben, fémes tulajdonságaikat szinte teljesen elvesztett darabokban fellelt tárgyat úgy állította össze, hogy a meggyengült töredékek éleinek Araldit lo6 tipusu ragasztásával egyidőben a ragasztások vonalára 2-3 mm-es elemi üvegszálakat tartalmazó epoxi-gyantaszövedéket préselt. így megoldódott a statikai megerősítés, és lehetőség nyílt az esztétikai-funkcionális bemutatásra. A szerző a technológiára vonatkozó röntgenfluoreszcens vizsgálat eredményét is ismerteti. Géza Báthy Restoration of a Roman Bronze Bowl by Means of a Support Levelled With the Surface The article describes the restoration of a bronze bowl found in the late Roman cemetary in the town of Sophianae in one of the important provinces of the Roman Empire, Pannónia. The object, that was found in thin fragments, barely having any more of its metal characteristics,. was put together again by using Araldit lo6 on the edges of fragments and, in the meantime, by pressing a tissue, woven from 2-3 mm long glass fibers, soaked with epoxi resin. So was it possible to reinforce the object, and to meet esthetic and functional requirements. The author also gives the results of the X-ray-fluorescent examinations. 29
