We keep the material of county, district and local councils, from the autumn of 1950 to the end of 1960, consisting mainly of the journals of the autonomous bodies (councils, executive committees and special commissions). The records of the specialized administrative organs of the County Council are in archival custody. Among the districts Adony, among the cities Dunaújváros have entrusted their records to archival custody; the latter are preserved by the Dunaújváros department. The special library of the Archives totals 12,000 volumes, researchers may study a large part of Hungarian historical literature and a local history collection, consisting of works published on Fejér county, periodicals and studies, also manuscripts and a very rich alphabetical local history collection (35,000 cards).
