The church is one in its BEING although its unity may not always be evident to us. Our camp experience testified to this unity in BEING in its truth and reality, as well as to its possible fulfillment. We were united in all that we did and in all that we felt. If I have learned anything from Youth Camp, it is the lesson that we must first put into practice the reality of our unity by working together for the cause of the Kingdom before we attempt to reach a theoretical ag-The Rt. We work together not to realize God’s Kingdom in the here and now, rather we work in order to realize that unity which points and directs our attention to God’s Kingdom. These three characteristics of our youth have not exhausted themselves in a moment of emotional experience; rather they have already testified to their own future. Both in the discussion groups and the individual suggestion sheets I discovered that the young campers have a desire to learn more about the Word of God and about their cultural heritage. Many of them expressed a real interest in participating in small group Bible study, in having more God/Christ centered lectures, and in learning more about religious and cultural life in Hungary today. It seems our young people know what they want and are willing to go for it. I am confident we can meet their challenge. For it was not in vain that our forefathers fought to learn more about the Word of God and searched for a sense of identity. We have a storehouse of wealth from which to draw: afterall, we too are Hungarian and Proud. Rev. For a wondrous barometer serves in its place, However you live, it will show in your face. The sin and deceit that you wear in your heart Will not stay inside where it first got its start. A hypocrite's smile is a thin veil of lace: What you have in your heart will show through in your face. If your life is unselfish, if for others you live, Not for what you can get, but what you can give, If you live close to God in His infinite grace, You don’t have to say so, it shows in your face!
