Mong. 48 A Chinese-Manchu-Mongol Collection of Maxims Manuscript of 1911, double-leaved fascicles, 12.3 : 22.5 cm, thin Chinese paper, no pagination; 6 lines/page, brush, black ink along red ruling, small size shorthand; thick cover pasted of used muutuu sheets; title cover verso inside bears the remnants of a Manchu syllabary: gor gur xor, etc.; back cover recto inside: 7 brush-written lines in Mongolian: ger[e]ä biäg bayiyulqu-yin uőar tere [or bayan?] kümün joyos jaruqu-yin tula ...; verso inside: Chinese-Mongolian-Manchu phrases. Yellow inner cover recto with red printed flower design and Chinese line; brush-written black lines in Mongolian and Manchu. Yellow inner back cover with the same print and with one more Chinese line, damaged. -AYinstead of -YY-, etc. Title on the muutuu cover: Man Meng Han san he Ming xian ji "A Collection [of Sayings] of Noted Sages in Three [Languages:] Manchu, Mongolian [and] Chinese" (right side, above), Qianqing ji "Q. recorded" (middle, below). - Title on the inner cover recto in Mongolian: Gegegen sayid-un jbkiyan nayirayuluysan beäg . "A Book Written by Serene [and] Noble Ones." (right side, above) and Fuyurungya ningge "F.'s" (middle, below) . Inc. f.
