Tarbay János Gábor: Késő bronzkori depó Oltárc–Márki hegyről (Zala m.) Őskori manipulációk, szelektív és recens törések vizsgálata

The Late Bronze Age Hoard from Oltáré Márki Hill 87 Slovenia (Crmosnjica126) and Hungary (Öreglak,127 Őrei,128 Piricse l,129 Szentes-Nagyhegy 2130). Ha A2 dating was only suggested in the case of the specimen from the Sice hoard.131 The last three sickles (Cat. nos. 11-13) are two variants of the same type, the only difference between them is their secondary decoration after the casting process. Their distribution pattern overlaps, and their dating (Ha Al) and main distribution areas show strong similarities with the above mentioned sickles (List 4.1-4.2). 3.6.3. Jewelleries and clothing accessories Regarding its composition, the Márki Hill hoard contains several prominent jewelleries and clothing accessories: tores (Cat. nos. 16-23), armrings (Cat. nos. 24-41), rings (Cat. nos. 41-42), fibulae (Cat. nos. 43-49), Nadap-Poljanci type phalerae (Cat. nos. 50-51). The tores of the hoard can be assigned to three different style group based on their decoration (hatched, twisted, and undecorated). The appearance of comparable specimens was between the Ha Al and Ha B1 periods when they occured in almost every part of the Carpathian Basin, but they show dominance in the southern part of the region and also in Transdanubia. Their distribution was not limited to the Carpathian Basin, specimens were excavated in the territory of the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany.132 As a curiosity (just to mention), a fragment of a new specimen was sold at the eBay along with typical Ha Al finds from the northern Balkan region (fig. 24.1). Semicircle-sectioned armrings with geometric decoration (Cat. nos. 24-37) were deposited in great number into the hoard. Similar objects can be found in the Czech Republic, in the Br C2 hoards from Hulin133 and Hradisko l134 and several other in the Br D1 hoards (1st,135 4th,136 6th,137 7th,138 16th139) from Blucina. From the Hungarian region, we are aware of two specimens from the Bonyhád140 (Ha Al) and the Badacsonytomaj- Korkován hill hoards141 (“Ha A2”). One fragment was found in Hocko Pohorje/Spure142 (Slovenia) and two Ha Al specimens in Cugir,143 Uioara de Sus144 and one stray find from Romania.145 The Cat. no. 39 armring has particular characteristics, its body is thick and slightly quadratic. The back of the object is decorated with bundles of lines. Three similar armrings are known, dated to the Ha Al from Brodski Varos146 and Suchá Loz.147 An undecorated specimen from the Musov 2 hoard148 is also worth to mention. The Cat. no. 40 object can be assigned to the group of rings with tapering terminals which is a well- distributed type between the HaAl andHaBl periods, mostly in the territory of Transdanubia and North- Eastern Hungary.149 The annular ring with rhomboid cross-section (Cat. no. 41) was reconstructed from four fragments. Similar objects were deposited in the same period (Ha Al-Ha Bl) as the above described ring type, primary in Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and sporadically in Poland, Romania, North Balkan and Austria.150The Cat. no. 42 rhomboid-sectioned annular ring has a unique chased decoration. According to our knowledge, only undecorated specimens are known from the research area between the Ha A and Ha B periods (e.g. Kanalski Vrh l151). 126 CERCE-SINKOVEC 1995, 138-139., PI. 55, 37. 127 MOZSOLICS 1985, 163-165., Taf. 79, 10. 128 MOZSOLICS 1985, 165-166., Taf. 120, 2. 129 MOZSOLICS 1985, 176., Taf. 198,5. 130 MOZSOLICS 1985, 193., Taf. 223A, 9. 131 VINSKI-GASPARINI 1973, 218., Tab. 95, 12. 132 See NOVOTNÁ 1984, 27-38.; VASlC 2010, 9-38.; TARBAY 2014, 201-204., List 11, Fig. 22-24. 133 SALAS 2005a, 271-276.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 21,55. 134 SALAS 2005a, 265-271.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 9, 69. 135 SALAS 2005a, 285-286.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 43, 18, 21. 136 SALAS 2005a, 289-291.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 54, 28, Tab. 55, 29-32. 137 SALAS 2005a, 292-293.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 65, 4-6. 138 SALAS 2005a, 293.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 66, 5. 139 SALAS 2005a, 304-306.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 88, 21. 140 MOZSOLICS 1985, 102-104. 141 MOZSOLICS 1949, 23. tábla 17. 142 CERCE - SINKOVEC 1995, 177-195., PI. 79, 100. 143 PETRESCU-DiMBOVIJA 1998, 129., Taf. 108, 1453. 144 PETRESCU-DÍMBOVIJA 1998, 129.,Taf. 108, 1454. 145 PETRESCU-DÍMBOVITA 1998, 129., Taf. 108, 1449. 146 VINSKI-GASPARINI 1973, 212.., Tab. 59, 10. 147 SALAS 2005a, 391-392.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 274B, 2. 148 SALAS 2005a, 357-371.; SALAS 2005b, Tab. 213, 160. 149 MOZSOLICS 1985, 65-66.; KEMENCZEI 1996, 75-76.; KEMENCZEI 1997, 118-121.; TARBAY 2015b, 321-322., Fig. 11. 150 TARBAY 2015b, 319-320., Fig. 9, List 5. 151 CERCE - SINKOVEC 1995, PI. 103, 59-72., PI. 104-106, PI. 107, 118-120.
