Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Very rare, only a few localities are known. General distribution: Europe, Caucasus, Israel, Northwest Africa. Longitarsus helvolus Kutschera, 1863 HUNGARY — Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Bükk, 6.IV.1977, OA; Fejér county: Vértes, Kőhányás-puszta, 24.VIII.1974, PA; Veszprém county: Bakony, Bakonybél: Som-hegy, 29.VIII.1977, OA; Hajmáskér, 26.Ш.1977, OA [4]; Balaton­felvidék, Dörgicse, 26.VIII.1978, 7.IX.1978, PA [4]; Koloska-völgy, 16.IV.1983, PA; Tihany, 17.IV. 1983, PA [2]; Vászoly, 27. VI Л982, PA; Zala county: Keszthelyi­hg., Pörkölt-hegyek, 28.VIII.1977, OA [2]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: This species was mentioned in KASZAB' s (1962b) book as L. membranaceus (Foudras). L. membranaceus (Foud­ras) is, however, a species distributed in the Western Mediterranean, in North Africa and Asia Minor. Specimens identified as L. membranaceus (Foudras) from the Car­pathian Basin actually belong to L. helvolus Kutschera. Distributed sporadically but rare everywhere. General distribution: Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, North Italy, Switzerland and France. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Widely distributed but uncommon. General distribution: Europe, Palaearctic Asia. Longitarsus jacobaeae (Waterhouse, 1858) HUNGARY — Fejér county: Vértes, Kőhányás-puszta, 25.VIII. 1974, PA; Veszprém county: Bakony, Bakonyszücs, 18-19.VI.1979, OA; Fenyőfő, 22.VIL1978,OA[2].
