s (1962b) book as L. membranaceus (Foudras). L. membranaceus (Foudras) is, however, a species distributed in the Western Mediterranean, in North Africa and Asia Minor. Specimens identified as L. membranaceus (Foudras) from the Carpathian Basin actually belong to L. helvolus Kutschera. Distributed sporadically but rare everywhere. General distribution: Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, North Italy, Switzerland and France.
