Longitarsus kutscherae (Rye, 1872) HUNGARY — Békés county: Kétegyháza, 4.IV.1979, ÁL; Veszprém county: Bakony, Porva, 2.IV.1983, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: KASZAB (1962&) mentioned it as Longitarsus melanocephalus var. kutscherae. Very rare in our faunal region, only two additional locality data were formerly known from the Great Hungarian Plain (Bátorliget, Szeged) and one from Transsylvania. General distribution: Europe, Palaearctic Asia (excl. Japan), Algeria. Longitarsus lateripunctatus personatus Weise, 1893 GREECE — Central Greece: Mt. Olympos, Ag. Dimitris, 4.V.1981, PA. HUNGARY — Fejér county: Bakony, Bakonycsernye: Kisgyónbánya, 23.XI.1986, PA, (s); Vas county: Kőszegi-hg., Bozsok, 29.VI.1980, PA; Veszprém county: Bakony, Bakonybél: Gerence-völgy, 12.V.1983, PA [2]; Gézaháza: Ördögárok, U.V. 1983, PA; Pénzesgyőr: Szömörke-völgy, 12.XI.1983, PA, (s); Porva, 21. IV. 1985, PA; Balaton-felvidék, Agártető, 23.IV. 1978, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Rare in the Carpathian Basin, distributed mainly on Western Transdanubia. General distribution: The nominal form occurs in the Mediterranean countries. This subspecies lives in Mid and South Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Rhodos, Cyprus, Israel. Longitarsus lewisii (Baly, 1874) HUNGARY — Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county: Nagyiván, 27.IX.1975, PA [2]; Tiszafüred, 27.IX.1975, PA; Pest county: Gyömrő, 23.IX.1973, PA; Vas county: Kőszegi-hg., Velem, 29-30.IV. 1979, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: The specimens identified so far as "L. scutellaris (Mulsant et Rey)" actually belong to L. lewisii (Baly) (GRUEV and MERKL 1992).
