Praenorica Folia historico-namralia, V (2002) Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: This species was separated from P. diademata (Foudras) and elevated to species rank recently. Unfortunately, the two species can be separated from each other by the investigation of aedeagus and spermatheca. Therefore the whole Hungarian P. diademata (Foudras) material needs revision. According to our recent knowledge, P. astrachanica Lopatin seems to be a widely distributed species in the Carpathian Basin.
