Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Rare in the country, only a few ad­ditional places of occurrence are known (Bükk Mts., Debrecen, Mecsek Mts., Zamárdi, Zemplén Mts.). It was recently reported again from the Bükk Mts. (ToMOV et al 1996) and from Őrség (Nagyrákos) (VÍG and ROZNER 1996). General distribution: Mountains of Mid, South and Southeastern Europe (South France, North Italy, ex-Yugoslavian countries, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia).
