MACEDONIA — RadoviS, 28-29.VI.1976, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Common species on dry warm slopes of hilly areas. General distribution: Mid, South and Southeastern Europe, Asia Minor, Caucasus, North Africa. Remarks: C. vittula Suffrian turned to be a junior synonym of C. pygmaeus Fabricius. Thus the formerly published data concerning C. vittula Suffrian, 1848 from Hungary (VIG 1996, 1998a; VIG and ROZNER 1996) refer to C. pygmaeus Fabricius. Cryptocephalus quadriguttatus Richter, 1820 HUNGARY — Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county: Bükk, Rejtek, 10.VII.1983, PA [2]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed in the hilly and mountainous areas of our faunal region. Not so common. Its food plants are Alnus species. General distribution: Mid and Southeastern Europe, Caucasus,. Kazakhstan. Cryptocephalus quatuordecimmaculatus Schneider, 1792 HUNGARY — Pest county: Budapest: Békásmegyer, 2I.V. 1973 [6], 12.V.1975, PA; Budapest: Hármashatár-hegy, 30.V.1968, PA; Veszprém county: Balaton-felvidék, Balatonudvari, 7.VI.1976, 20. VI. 1978, PA [3]; Kiliántelep, 21.V.1970 [2], 20.VI.1976 [2], 22.V.1977, PA [2]; Tihany, 7.V.1983, PA [4]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Widely distributed on dry grassy slopes and sand dunes. Locally (Buda Mts., Velence Mts., Villány Hills) very common (VIG 2000).
