Praenorica Folia historico-naturalia, V (2002) Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed in the Carpathians. In the recent territory of Hungary very rare, only three specimens are known. There is one old specimen from Bükk Mts. (TOMOV et al. 1996) and two other specimens from Kőszeg Mts. (VIG 1996). General distribution: Mid, South and Southeastern Europe. Cryptocephalus saliceti Zebe, 1855 SLOVAKIA — Banská Bystrica okrel: Alacsony-Tátra [=Nízke Tatry], Donovaly, 17-23.VIII. 1985, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Sporadically distributed in the Carpathians. In the faunistical literature, there is only one locality (Kőszeg Mts.) reported from the recent territory of Hungary (FREH 1878; civ. KASZAB 1937, 1962b). On the other hand, there is no voucher specimen known in Hungarian collections. General distribution: Mountains of Central Europe, Carpathians.
