Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Very rare, only a few localities are known. General distribution: Europe, Caucasus, Israel, Northwest Africa. VI Л982, PA; Zala county: Keszthelyihg., Pörkölt-hegyek, 28.VIII.1977, OA [2]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: This species was mentioned in KASZAB' s (1962b) book as L. membranaceus (Foudras). L. membranaceus (Foudras) is, however, a species distributed in the Western Mediterranean, in North Africa and Asia Minor. Specimens identified as L. membranaceus (Foudras) from the Carpathian Basin actually belong to L. helvolus Kutschera. Distributed sporadically but rare everywhere. General distribution: Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, North Italy, Switzerland and France. Longitarsus jacobaeae (Waterhouse, 1858) HUNGARY — Fejér county: Vértes, Kőhányás-puszta, 25.VIII. 1974, PA; Veszprém county: Bakony, Bakonyszücs, 18-19.VI.1979, OA; Fenyőfő, 22.VIL1978,OA[2].
