Sándor HORVATOVICH, Gábor HEGYESSY & Tibor KOVÁCS The great majority of the 85 species collected in this area are generally distributed in the hills of Hungary. There is an important difference between the longicorne fauna of the south slopes and the north ones. On the south slopes live some species which are only spread in the southernmost parts of Hungary. On the north slopes we have collected a few mountainous species. The following species are rare in Hungary: Deilus fugax, Herophila tristis.
