Múzeumpedagógia - Molnár Ildikó: Nem vizuális szemléltetési lehetőségek a múzeumpedagógiában a balassagyarmati MNM Palóc Múzeumában

ILDIKÓ MOLNÁR NON-VISUAL ILLUSTRATIVE POSSIBILITIES IN MNM PALÓC MUSEUM The Palóc Museum in Balassagyarmat is a thematic museum, which collects, compiles and processesthe palóc folklore, and more specifically its tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Despite shortcomings in staffing and materials resources the museum was able to meet these three classic requirements until 2000. The need for change and renewal were proved by needs and aspirations of today's world Without opportunities to apply and from scarce resources it is very difficult for an institution in the countryside to establish a well-operating cultural learning and museum pedagogy system. The process has started together with the improvement of the staffing and materials resources. It is a major achievement for the museum, that a member who is qualified in public education joined the institution, and in2007 a folklore museologist completed a museum pedagogy course at ELTE University. That was a great accomplishment, as the rewere only two experts in the Nógrád County Museum Association that had a degree incultural learning, and not a single museum pedagogist. That was the case despite the fact that there were member institutions in the Association that were able to provide perfect opportunities for both children- and adult interactive training. Considering these facts the Palóc Museum offers a professionally organised, quality permanent exhibition: „From cradle to tomb.” The „Peasant holidays and weekdays in Nógrád County” was created according to the three classic requirements and „Can look, don't touch” principle. We are aware of the disadvantage of this attitude and have been trying to improve it. Naturally, we respect the original concept and the approach of the organisers as well As explained further below I will approach the non-visual demonstration opportunities at the permanent exhibition from various aspects. Partly on the basis of age groups and physical qualities and partly by displaying the planned vision. 280
