How Analyzing Works of Art and Doing Creative Work are Related?

Based on the Local History Exhibition „Centuries of Pásztó” in the Pásztó Museum by Evelin Zentai

High standard pedagogical programmes were developed in the Municipal Museum of Pásztó during the past years by museologists and pedagogists.

The old exhibition on local history was rearranged in 2007 on the occasion of the 600 years anniversary of granting town rights to Pásztó. This new exhibition, named „ Centuries at Pásztó” awaits visitors with colour photographs and documents. Our special exercise books and other activity charts were made for 3 different age groups. These materials help the children to understand the exhibitions.

In 2010 we elaborated the exhibition on local history in museum pedagogy classes, thematic classes, thematic days and a study group for the local history. The financial background of this activity was based on our successful applications for funding.

In 2011 we announce contests for primary and secondary school students. The factual knowledge material of these competitions is based on the museum pedagogy classes of the previous years.
