Petró Ede: -A BYTHINELLA AUSTRIACA /FRAUENFELD, 1859/ BUDAPESTr ELŐFORDULÁSÁRÓL /ELŐZETES KÖZLEMÉNY/ ON APPEARANCE ON BYTHINELLA AUSTRIACA IN BUDAPEST /PRELIMINARY REPORT/ Abstract : Bythinella austriaca has been found on the Pest Plain in Budapest /Rákospalota/, in springs of the Csömör-Kisviz valley /CT 67/. The population can be identified with the Bythinella austriaca var, hungarica Hazay, 1881. The population diverges from the genus forms with the morphometrical characteristics of the shells proved by statistical elaboration. The Budapest occurance of the B. austriaca var, hunga rica population makes it probable that the "localités tipica" of the items described by Gyula Hazay in 1881 were found.
