The most important icons of the toolbar: <3 a <H •M K B K Zoom in. Click this button, move the mouse pointer to the desired location, then click and drag a box around an area of the map. When you release the mouse button, the map zooms in to the selected area. Zoom out. Click this button to zoom out one level. Continue clicking until you have zoomed out to the desired level. Continuous zoom in/zoom out. Holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse for­ward/backward enables continuous zoom in/zoom out. Fixed value zoom in. 0 M * * Fixed value zoom out. K 'M 4-?+ Pan. The Pan tool allows the interactive ma­nipulation of the map. Clicking this tool, then clicking the map and holding down the left mouse button allows the dragging of the display in any direction. Zoom to full extent. Zooms the view to the full geographic extent of all layers. Go Back. Can be used to revisit previously viewed areas. Only becomes active after navigating the map. Go Next. Only becomes active if an area has already been visited. Identify feature. Provides information on a selected feature (see below). Find. Measure. Enables measuring the distance be­tween two points (in meters). Several sec­tions can be measured successively. Clicking the left mouse button twice resets the Mea­sure tool to zero.
