Rezümé

In order to realize her proposals in practice she holds the view that it is necessary to form a group of experts from archivists and from co-workers of sufficient knowledge for determining the domain of data bases to be archived. László Ferencz: Investigation of large data banks The author is dealing with the problems of large data banks, he draws attention to the fast development of the possibilities in computing, to the new features in applying computers in data processing and in processing documentations. It is dearth with the correspondence between the traditional files and the data stored by the computer. When storing data for technical purposes magnetic tapes must be protected practically only from physical damages, but in the case storing data on magnetic tape for archival purposes there is needed a form being independent of the computer, corresponding to the standards which are accepted and wide-spread in the given period. The method of storing data on microfilms can be regarded as a traditional one and it seems that the newer method for solving the problems concerning quantity is probably, for a certain time, the storage on CD disks. Attention is drawn to the necessity of employing both technical persona) and experts to be ready for handling data and for the possibility of supplying informations to research workers. Lajos Körmendy: Archival storage of computer data media and data - international experiences, 1983-1988 The author outlines the international experiences. The most important results are according to his opinion: computer data media and data must be regarded - if some conditions are fulfilled - as archivalia; a process of unification has begun and as its consequence the best methods and results became known and applied widely; the appearance of summarizing reports which are utilizable as manuals can serve as a great help to the archival institutions intended to collect and to archive computer data media and data. The paper describes the aspects to be taken into account in the frame of the programme aimed to archive the informative documents in detail. The processing of archivalia begins really with a total or partial appraisal. For this purpose it is suitable to apply a data sheet or questionary. When appraising discarding, selecting informative documents to be archived on the basis of data it is recommended to start by a formal and technical control, because the lack of some conditions makes archiving impossible. This is followed by the appraisal of the content which does not differ from the procedure used in the case of traditional documents: there must be known the tasks, the function of the institution in question, the character and structure of the informative documents issued. In contrary to the traditional documents the convincigness of the informative documents lies less in the individual documents but - arising from their character - in the whole of them. When processing informative documents - similarly to that of traditional documents - vade-mecums must be prepared otherwise is the collection without any use. Péter Tamáska: Automation of bureaus and archiving computer data media in the German Federal Republic The conclusion of the author is that the methodological basis of automation of bureaus is subordinated to a unified, planned information system. According to German experts informatics, processing of informations have a great influence on the work in bureaus so that the bureau of the future will be a special centre of informatics dealing with producing, storing, processing, retrieving and distributing informations. The paper describes the information system of the governement of the Federal Republic.
