Answer to code telegram No. 93. 1 Considering the intransigent attitude of the Czechs, I agree to the negotiations being interrupted after the discussion of the problems of repatriation and minorities. The new representatives of the Ministry of Justice, and the negotiators on foundations, archives and museums will not now leave Budapest. 2 No. 567. ooo/pol. Mr. Popovic to-day proposed for our negotiations 3 the more urgent matters which after they have been cleared up between us would lead to the evacuation without further delay: 1. The Baranya coal. 4 2. The relationship of the Serbian Church in Buda to the Patriarch of Karlócza. 3. The question in connection with the operation of the canal south of Baja. 5 4. Mutual transfers of population on the pattern of the Bul­garian-Greek agreement. In order that I can make a further verbal report before the beginning of the negotiations, I would ask for authority to travel to Budapest on the Monday express steamer; Mr. Popovic also asks me to do so. 6 1 Supra, Doc.
