1920 217 Slovakia, it results from the protocol attached that according to statements made by the population, the offenders were civilian persons. Public safety in these regions is in the very worst condition as the line of demarcation is not clearly defined. * In order to remedy the present troubles at least temporarily we have on the 8th inst, at the request of the population, provisionally occupied the boroughs of Cered, Tajti, Vecseklő and Hidegkút evacuated by the Czechs in the meantime. Based on the above I would point out that it would be neces sary for the Czecho-Slovaks to use the Hungarian geographical names in their reports; these are names which have been accepted for centuries past, and the new names given by them are absolutely unknown to us and make more thorough investigation impossible.
