Secondary Grammar-School, Baross Gábor út 36, H-5350 .Tiszafüred, Hungary Abstract: At the Department of Hydrobiology of the University of Debrecen, within the scope of the Hungarian Odonatological Database, data analysis regarding the body mass and body size of both developmental stages (larva, adult) of the dragonfly species Libellula fulva Müller, 1764 has been done. The individuals were collected from the population of the part of river Kis-Körös, located on the confines of village Bojt. Our aims were on the one hand to give characterization in population level of the species, and also to analyse deviations in sexism level by body mass and body size data, on the other hand to find out the relationship between body mass and body size. The analysis was acted upon the following data: in case of adults the wet and dry body mass, furthermore the length of the body and abdomen, the width of the head and clypeus, the distance between antenna scapes, the length of the right hind femur, the length of the wings, the distance between the node and the distal end of the pterostigma on the right fore- and hindwings; as for the larvae the wet and dry body mass, the length of the body, the width of the abdomen, the width of the head, the distance between the antenna scapes and the length of the right hind femur. At both developmental stages neither deviations in sexism level nor relationship between body mass and body size was found. Key words: Libellula fulva, body mass, body size, larva, adult.
