To find out tihe origin of juvenile constituents of thermal waters the tectonic structuro has to be examiued. as the location of reservoirs as well as the ascension of water in natural sources and artesian wells depend on structural conditions. Structures where thermal waters accumulate are tains förmed in the Lower Triassic, that of the Villány Mountains of the Middle Triassic, of the Krasso-Szörényer (Banat) Mountainis, tlw Bükk and Bihar Mountains of the Lower Triassic, oí the Nagyhagymás and Persány Mountains förmed in the Lower Liassic.
