MUSICA MUNDI When we began to organize the first International Choir Competition Budapest ten years ago, nobody suspected that the idea of bringing together hobbyists, amateur and semi-professional choirs and music groups in international competitions within a decade would become one of the greatest and most successful cultural events in Europe. The international choir competitions and music festivals organized, promoted and sponsored by the Interkultur Foundation found enthusiastic followers all over the world. These events take place in Riva del Garda, Grado, Salsomaggiore Terme and Salö (I), Budapest, Eger and Veszprém (H), Netanya (IL), Zwickau, Wernigerode, Gießen and Pohlheim (D) and Fort Lauderdale (Florida/USA). The registered and non-profit Interculture Foundation has its seat in Pohlheim. It collaborates with more than 90,000 instrumental ensembles and choirs, institutions, communities, professional unions and ministries of almost all countries of the world. Interculture Foundation has contacts with well-known personalities of the international musical life as well as numerous public and private organisations, societies, associations and foundations. We maintain offices in Werdau (D), Budapest (H) - Interkultur Hungária, Netanya (IL), Fort Lauderdale (Florida/USA) - Interculture Foundation of America, and Riva del Garda (I) - Associazione Interkultur Italia.
