Summary: The first pig builds his house of straw and the wolf blows it down. He runs away, meets his friends, but they are then trapped by the hunter. He shuts them in a house made of bricks, where they start drinking and one pig tells the story of Red Riding Hood, who vanquished a wolf. This gives the pigs courage, as does the drink, and when the wolf comes to the house they kill him. They are celebrating this, forgetting the hunter, when he returns and takes then away for his dinner.
