Seeing now that you have come in such good numbers I can see in your eyes the light which glowed 30 years ago as well in the eyes of those who were present at this statue. It is this light, these sparks of God, which made possible that leaders of the Empire of Moscow promised solemnly that they would withdraw their troops from the territory of our country. Ve bear this promise in mind. If you guard this light in your eyes we will achieve that what we demanded and what we have been promised would come true.

It is this what they wanted to take away from us and it is this that they have taken away from many of us, the most significant, something which we were given by God: our faith, sóul and trust. It is this that we must guard best.

Let us promise now that we guard anxiously that light and that we continue to fight fór our sovereignty and freedom.

The process of spiritual cleansing has begun. Ve can trust that just as our ancestors in 1848 and your predecessors in 1956, you too will achieve freedom.
