Katona Csaba: Kaba nevének eredete

were the high-ranking relatives of the reigning Árpád dynasty, the “dukes”. The conquered supplementary tribes fell under the authority of the actually governing duke, thus it can be stated with great probability that the village Kaba in Szabolcs county took its name according to the usage of one or another of these tribes: it was transformed into a place name from a personal one.
