Kormos, T. 1911 Hungarian Geological Institute (MÁFI) Palaeovertebrata Collection, originally unregistered finds after revision Arvicola terrestris L. 1 Unterkieferhälften, mehrere Femora und Humeri *Microtus ratticeps KEYS, et BLAS. 2 Unterkieferhälften Microtus agrestis L. 4 Unterkieferhälften Evotomys glareolus foss. NHRG. 1 Unterkieferhälfte Mus silvaticus L. 1 Unterkieferhälfte Myoxus glis L. 20 Unterkieferhälften und zahlreiche Extremitätenknochen -, Ochotona sp. (? hyperboreus PALL. ) 3 obere Backenzähne, 1 Calcaneus Rana sp. 1 Beckenknochen Bufo sp. 1 Beckenknochen Schlangenwirbel und 1 Unterkieferhälfte Arvicola terrestris (LINNÉ) lost Microtus oeconomus PALLAS - V. 12652 1 mandible with M^, the other is lost (with the original revision card of L. Méhely) Microtus arvalis-agrestis group - V. 12653 1 mandible, the others are lost Myodes glareolus (SCHREBER) - V. 12654 1 mandible plus the assembling of Imre Maros in 1904: 1 maxilla fr., 1 mandible Apodemus sp. - V. 12655 1 mandible Glis glis (LINNÉ) - V. 12656 20 mandibles fr., 24 femora, 14 humeri, 4 pelves, 1 scapula Ochotona sp. - V. 12657 3 mandibles, 1 calcaneus Rana sp. lost Bufo sp. lost Ophidia indet. lost The species marked by an asterisk are revised by Méhely in Kormos' publication. In some cases Méhely's cards were found in the collection, as it is indicated in the right side list. During the taxonomical revision 5 taxa of the 16 ones established by Kormos have lost (Putorius, Arvicola, Rana, Bufo , Ophidia) . Several ones only scantily while some of them (Sorex, Crocidura , Talpa, Evotomys, Mus, Myoxus, Ochotona ) entirely remained. There was no need for an intrinsic taxonomical reclassification during the revision, only Microtus agrestis and Mus silvaticus are questionable since according to our present knowledge the unambiguous determination of M. agrestis is possible only on the base of M 2 . In the lack of this tooth in the original material I prefer to record these finds as those belonging to the agrestis-arvalis group. According to our present nomenclature the Mus silvaticus is by all means identical with Apodemus silvaticus but since only a mandible without M^ has remained it is more suitable to record it as Apodemus sp. b) Specimens of the Palaeovertebrate Collection of the Hungarian Geological Institute (MÁFI) with Ob registration In the Palaeovertebrate Collection of the Hungarian Geological Institute there are the specimens of lo taxa registered in different times. Their locality is simply "Kőszeg" According to the inventory book Revised Rana mehelyi Rana mehelyi BOLKAY Ob3909, frakturált medence 1 pelvis (pathological) Glis glis L. Glis glis (LINNÉ) Ob5181, koponya töredék és koponya 1 mandible, the skull fragment is lost
