) Within the micromammal finds of Kőszeg being in the Palaeovertebrate Collection of the Hungarian Geological Institute up to the present we could separate two groups in the material which yielded the basis of Kormos' 1911 publication. They were segregated without any registration. In addition to the find-groups described above there are also several determined and undetermined finds marked as from Kőszeg. On the basis of their condition they derive from at least two assemblings. Hereinafter they will be marked with c/1 and c/2. The finds marked with c/1 derive from an old assembling (before 1947) as indicated by their contemporary inscriptions. c/1.
