Equatorial periphery elongate, distinctly lobate; axial periphery angular, sharply acute with a distinct keel. Chambers compressed, about 15 in the dorsal side arranged in 3 whorls. The last whorl composed of 5 chambers increasing rapidly in size. Wall calcareous perforate, surface smooth. Sutures on the dorsal side strongly curved, depressed; on the ventral side rather straight, depressed. Umbilicus large, open. Aperture a long arch, interiomargi^-j,! , extraumbilical - umbilical, with a lip. Diameter: 0,38 mm Occurrence : This species characterizes the G. pseudomenardii zone (sample no. 6) and in the thin section of sample no. 5. Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: .. pseudomenardii BOLLI was first described by BOLLI (1957; from the Paleocene of the lower Lizard Springs formation, Trinidad, where it characterizes the G. pse udomenardii zone. 80
