5 Isabella and her younger sisters were likely to have similar chains. Perhaps the chain found in the grave of Queen Constance initally belonged to Anna Jagiellonka and by inheritance, was owned by Sigismundus III. The king gave the jewels inherited from the Jagiellonian dynasty to his wives, which is revealed both by the archival sources

6 and the jewel with the initial „A" taken out of the grave of King Sigismundus III Vasa's wife Anna the Austrian. It previously belonged to Anna Jagellionka. The jewel with the initial ,,A" was made in the same workshop as the preserved jewel „C", belonging to her sister, the Swedish Queen Catherine and the unpreserved jewel „S" that belonged to the third sister Sophia.

7 The analogous structure of links of the chain from the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest and of these in the chain found at Queen Constance (though they differed in some details) might indicate purchasing the jewels from one source. Perfect layering of coloured enamel and sophisticated compositions of the links show that workshop was excellent. Izabella, Magyarország királynéja ékszerei Rezümé Izabella és Szapolyai János esküvőjére 1539. január 28-án került sor per procura. A magyar király értékes ékszereket ajándékozott ez alkalomból az arának: egy 2000 dukátot érő nyakéket egy hatalmas smaragddal díszített függővel, egy drágaköves, arany keretű tükröt és egy arany gyűrűt. Izabella szüleitől összesen 70000 dukátot érő hozományt és ajándékot kapott. Ez utóbbiaknak ismert leltára, összetételükről csak Izabella húga, Katalin hercegnő több, mint 2000 ékszert tartalmazó kelengyéjéből következtethetünk. Magyarországon három ékszert kapcsol a hagyomány Izabella személyéhez. Egy gyémántköves arany gyűrű (korábban az Andrássyak gyűjteményében, ma Diana Scarisbrick tulajdona), egy függő, úgynevezett násfa és egy arany nyaklánc. Utóbbiak a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum gyűjteményében. Izabella gyűrűjét (1. kép) természetes formájú, oktahedrális gyémánt díszíti, körülötte további piramidális és táblás köveket foglaltak. A gyűrűsín külső oldalán SFV, belsején pedig YSAB-R-VG vésés látható. Előbbi Szapolyai jelmondatának rövidítése: Sic Fata Volunt.
