2- A chain with spacious, open work links of two kinds hangs from the waist of Anna Jagiellonka in her coronation portrait. The chain ends with an enormous gold pear and a pearl tail. We know from the royal accounts that in the years of 1545 and 1546 chains for the princesses were ordered at goldsmiths.
