Histiostoma manuri sp. n. (Figs 15-21) Measurements — Length: 157-183 pm, breadth: 118-144 pm. Habitus: Body ovoid, sides of propodosoma convexly concave, hysterosoma broadly rounded. Dorsal side (Fig. 15): Propodosoma nearly triangular. A well-observable line runs par­allel with its outline. Inner pair of prodorsal setae much longer than the outer one and originating in front of them. Dorsosejugal region normal, ornamented with lineolae. Hysterosoma wide and gradually narrowed posteriorly. Surface of hysterosoma smooth, setae variable in length, seven pairs of hysterosomal setae long, and five pairs much shorter. Gnathosoma (Fig. 17): Infracapitulum oblong, palpi well observable, solenidia also long, setae well visible, standing behind palpi. Ventral side (Fig. 16): Apodemes thin, ap.sa short, ending free, far from sejugal ones, latter have a small anterio-lateral arch, ap 2 long, reaching the straight sejugal apodemes; ap.sp. also long, fused with sejugal apodemes. Entire surface of epimeres 3 and 4 orna­mented with small punctures. Epimeres 1, 3 and 4 bearing well-developed, striped mar­ginal suckers. Adhering plate rather large, disks Ds wholly reduced, excepting Ds v Legs (Figs 18-21): Tarsus of leg I with a falcate adhering seta, those of legs II—IV, long and setiform, much longer on leg IV. Tibiotarsal group of solenidia of leg I com­posed of three members: solenidia (p, longer than solenidia C0j and co 3 . Solenidia 8, of leg I short, that of leg II long and thin. Material examined — Holotype and 2 paratypes extracted from manure and dunghills, Shandaweel, Sohag, Egypt. 10.05.1998. Leg. S. A. Eraky.
