In the faunistic list the zoogeographical districts of the Carpathian Basin are indicated with Roman/Arab numerals (e.g., 1/1, II/l); the Carpathian Basin as a Zoogeographie territory covers the countries of Hungary, Austria (Burgenland), Slovakia, Ukraine (Ruthenia), Romania (Transylvania), Serbia (Voivodina), Croatia and Slovenia (Wend Area) (Móczár et al. 1972: cf. map on p. 114). Aliolus Say, 1836 For a long time Aliolus species were known only from the Nearctic Region, the first revision of them was presented by Martin (1956). In 1986 Tobias pointed out that the genus is represented in the Palaearctic Region too: he transferred several species in the genus Aliolus which had been originally described in the genus Triaspis (Tobias 1986: 165-166). Number of the species in the Nearctic Region is 23 and in the Palaearctic Region is 7, in Hungary 3 Aliolus species are registered. Aliolus breviseta (Snoflák, 1953) - Described and hitherto known only from Bohemia (Capek and Lukas 1989: 36). New to the fauna of Hungary. - Localities: 1/1: 1 S: Békéscsaba. 9 9: Csévharaszt. 1 9: Csömör. 1 9: Doboz [Gyula], Szanazug. 1 9: Kéleshalom, Illancs. 1 9 : Tákos, Bockerek-erdő. - II/l : 1 9 : Budapest, FIármashatár-hegy. 1 cT: Csákvár, Hosszú-völgy. 1 9: Nagykovácsi. 1 9: Nagyvázsony, swept in Festucetum sulcatae. 1 9: Szár. 2 9 + 1 <?: Tihany. - II/2: 2 9: Kerecsend, Fácános-berek. VI/2: 1 9 : Zajk. - V-VII, frequent in June. Aliolus hofferi (Snoflák, 1953) - Described from Bohemia, reported from Ukraine (Tobias 1986: 165) and Slovakia (Capek and Lukas 1989: 36). New to the fauna of Hungary. - Localities: 1 9 : Jósvafő, Szelce-völgy. - VII. Aliolus kusarensis (Abdinbekova, 1969) - Described from Azerbaïdjan, first reported in Hungary from the Kiskunság National Park (Papp 1987: 317). - Localities: 1/1 : 1 9 : Inárcs, dry meadow. Allodorus Foerster, 1862 Deviating from Tobias (1986: 165-166) and following Mason (1974: 241) I consider the taxon Allodorus as a well distinguishable genus closely related to Aliolus Say. Number of the Palaearctic species is 5 of which 4 species occur in Hungary too. Allodorus lepidus (Haliday, 1835) - Localities: 1/1: 1 â: Csévharaszt, swept in Betuletum. - II/l: 1 9: Dudar, taken with light trap. - II/2: 1 S: Jósvafő, Tengerszem. VI/2: 1 9: Hegyhátszentjakab. 1 S: Mernye. - V-VI and VIII. Allodorus semirugosus (Nees, 1816) - Locality: II/2: 1 9: Jósvafő, Szelce-völgy. VII. Allodorus sudeticus (Snoflák, 1953) - Known from Bohemia and Hungary so far. Localities: 1/1:1 9: Bátorliget, swept in a meadow. - V/2: 1 9: Szalafö. - VI/2: 1 9: Darány, nature reserve forest. - V-VI. Allodorus tuberculator (Zetterstedt, 1838) (= Brachistes atricornis Ratzeburg, 1848) - Mason (1974: 241) indicated that Eubazus atricornis (Ratzeburg), originally described in the genus Brachistes Wesmael, 1835, should be transferred to the genus Allodorus Foerster. In my paper (Papp 1994: 307) I pointed out that the species name Bracon tuberculator Zetterstedt, 1838 is a 10 years older name hence it has senior priority
