Macrocentrus (Amicroplus) infirmus (Nees, 1834) - Its area extends over the western Palaearctic Region where it is sporadic to frequent. In the eastern Palaearctis reported from Mongolia, Korea, Japan and China. First listed from Hungary by Papp (1973: 486). Localities -VI: Id: Budapest, Rákos. - II/l: 1 Ç : Nagyvázsony. 1 Ç : Németbánya, Jáger-völgy. - II/2: 1 Ç : Bükkszentkereszt, Pénzpatak-tető, swept in a QuercetoCarpinetum. 1 Ç : Répáshuta, Csúnya-völgy, swept in a Phyllitidi-Aceretum. - III/l (Slovakia): 1 Ç : Magas-Tátra, Furkota-völgy (=Vysoke Tatry, dol. Furkota). - III/2 (Transylvania): 1 Ç : Ciblesz-havasok (=Mtii Ciblesiu). 1 Ç : Radnai-havasok (=Mtii Rodnei).-VII-IX. Macrocentrus (Amicroplus) kurnakovi Tobias, 1976 - In the western Palaearctic Region widely distributed though everywhere a sporadic species. Described from Georgia (Abhazia), listed in the fauna of Netherland, Germany, Austria and Hungary. First reported from Hungary by Haeselbarth (1978). Localities -1/1: 1 Ç : Budapest, Lövölde. 1 Ç : Ocsa. 1 d: Sárospatak. - II/l: 1 Ç : Nagykovácsi, Hársbokor-hegy. - VI and VIII. Macrocentrus (Amicroplus) linearis (Nees, 1812) - Distributed and frequent to common in the Palaearctic Region. In Hungary also frequent and reared from the following lepidopterous hosts: (Gelechiidae:) Recurvaria nanella Hübner; (Oecophoridae:) Diurnea fagella Fabricius; (Tortricidae:) Adoxophyes reticulana Hübner, Archipspodana Scopoli, A. xylosteana Linnaeus, Hedya nubiferana Haworth, H. variegana Hübner, Pandemis heparana Denis et Schiffermüller, P. ribeana Hübner, Spilonota ocellana Fabricius, Tortrix viridana; (Pyralidae:) Haritala ruralis Scopoli. Localities - 171: 32 Ç Ç + 3 dd from twelve localities. - II/2: 43 ? ? + 28 dd from twelve localities. - II72: 69 Ç ? from three localities. - HI/3 (Transylvania): 1 $ : Retyezát (=Mtii Retezat). - V/2: 1 Ç : Szalafő. - VI/1: 20 Ç ? : Sásd. 3 ? ? + 1 d : Szederkény. 3 Ç Ç : Hosszúhetény. - VI/2: 3 Ç ? : Mozsgó. 3 Ç Ç : Simontornya. - V-IX, most frequent in June. Macrocentrus (Macrocentrus) marginator (Nees, 1812) - A Holarctic, a frequent species. In Hungary frequent to common, in this country reared from the following lepidopterous hosts: (Aegeriidae:) Synanthedon sphaeciformis Gerning, S. tipuliformis Clerck; (Lycaenidae:) Thecla quercus Linnaeus. Localities - 1/1: 3 Ç ^ + 2 dd from five localities. - 172: 4 Ç Ç + 1 d from two localities. - II/l : 6 Ç Ç + 2 dd from seven localities. -1172: 18 Ç Ç + 12 dd from eight localities. - III/I (Slovakia): 1 d : Borosznó (=Brusno). 1 Ç : Szalonca (=Slavnika). III/2-III/6 (Transylvania): 1 Ç : Désakna (=Ocna Dejului). 1 Ç : Homoródfürdő (=Baile Homorod) 700 m. 1 °- : Kovászna (= Covasna). 1 Ç : Küköllővár (=Cetatea de Balta). 1 d : Nagyenyed (=Aiud). 1 d : Radnai-havasok (= Mtii Rodnei). 1 Ç : Szeér (= Ser). V/2: 1 ? : Szalafő (Őrség). - VI/2: 1 Ç : Drávafok. 1 Ç : Kaposvár. 1 ? : Őszöd. - V-IX, frequent in May and July-August. Macrocentrus (Macrocentrus) nidulator (Nees, 1834) - Widely distributed in the Palaearctic Region. In Hungary rather frequent, here it was never reared from its hosts (Shenefelt 1969: 164, Tobias 1986: 259-260).
