FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LV 1994 p. 287-304 Contribution to the Braconid fauna of Hungary, X. Homolobinae, Macrocentrinae, Orgilinae and Microtypinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)* J. Papp Contribution to the Braconid fauna of Hungary, X. Homolobinae, Macrocentrinae, Orgilinae and Microtypinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae). - Sixty-two braconid species are reported from Hungary and the adjacent countries within the Carpathian Basin: Homolobinae 5 species (1 genus), Macrocentrinae 20 species (1 genus), Orgilinae 35 species (3 genera) and Microtypinae 2 species (1 genus). One homolobine and six macrocentrine species proved to be new to the fauna of Hungary. Localities of the species, except frequent ones, are detailed according to the Zoogeographie districts of the Carpathian Basin. The four subfamilies indicated in the title are represented in Hungary by six genera and 62 species, respectively. The genera and species are divided into the following subfamilies - Homolobinae: Homolobus Foerster with 5 species; Macrocentrinae: Macrocentrus Curtis with 20 species; Orgilinae: Charmon Haliday with 2 species, Kerorgilus Van Achterberg with 1 species and Orgilus Haliday with 32 species; Microtypinae: Microtypus Ratzeburg with 2 species. Species belonging to the subfamilies in question had been reported from Hungary and the adjacent countries, i.e. from the Carpathian Basin, by the authors in chronological order as follows: Szépligeti (1896a, 1896&, 1898). Győrfi (1941, 1959), Papp (1973, 1983, 1987, 1991). Seven species are new to the fauna of Hungary: Homolobus bohemani (Bengtsson), Macrocentrus blandus Eady et Clark, M. buolianae Eady et Clark, M. cingulum Reinhard, M. equalis Lyle, M.flavus Van Vollenhoven and M. gibber Eady et Clark. In the first (I.) and fourth (IV.) parts of my series of contributions (Papp 1979, 1984) I gave an enumeration of the collectors' name excelling in the accumulation of the braconid material of the Hungarian Natural History Museum. A second completion of the register of the persons' names are presented here: F. Bessenyi, F. Ehmann, Gy. Fekete, S. Fodor, J. Jakab, Z. Korsós. O. Merkl, A. Ruff, V. Rácz, R. Streda, G. Szőcs and S. Újhelyi. HOMOLOBINAE The taxonomic and systematic position of the homolobine species as well as genera has been recently re-evaluated with descriptions of several new species and genera (Van Achterberg 1979). The new interpretation of the subfamily is accepted worldwide by the * This study is supported by the Hungarian Research Fund (OTKA) No. T-3-3180
