Figs 1-3. Ceritaxa alluvialis sp. n.: abdominal segment VIII (1) and male genitalia in ventral (2) and lateral view (3) cimens): [Hung., Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén m.], Révleányvár, Méhes-sugoly, [talajcsapdázás (pitfall trapping)], 1993. VII. 11., Leg.: Hegyessy [G.] (sex cannot be determined, abdominal apex missing); [Hung., Borsod-AbaújZemplén m.], Révleányvár, Motolla, [talajcsapdázás (pitfall trapping)], 1993. VII. 11., Leg.: Hegyessy [G.] (two males). The specimens are in relatively bad condition (the antennae and legs, partly or in full, mutilated; the elytra and abdominal apex missing in one specimen). The types are deposited in the Department of Zoology of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. This new species possesses very characteristic features: its size is larger, antennae longer and slenderer than those of all other Ceritaxa species. The structure of abdominal tergite VIII is also undoubtedly distinctive. REFERENCES Benick, G. und Lohse, G. A. (1974): 14. Tribus: Callicerini (Athetae). - In: Freude, H., Harde, K. W., Lohse, G. A.
