Hairs of pronotum directed rearwards at longitudinal midline and directed obliquely rearwards and toward lateral margin elsewhere. Inclined lateral margin of pronotum visible in lateral aspect. Elytra approximately parallel-sided, longer than pronotum; suture as long as pronotum. Reticulation and punctuation of elytra as those of pronotum. Posterior margin of elytra almost straight; outer posterior angles weakly emarginate. Abdomen approximately parallel-sided; tergites finely and densely, rather indistinctly reticulated; punctuation fine and indistinctly asperate; pubescence fine and rather dense. Abdominal tergites III-V with a transversal impression at base. Posterior margin of tergite VII narrowly bordered by a pellicle.
