Yellowish red, antennái joints 6-13 excepting light brown lower side, black, abdomen black, propodeum often more reddish, abdominal sternite 1, segments (5)6-7 dark rufous translucent, tibiae more or less brownish. Wings short, reaching to anterior part of tergite 2 or sometimes to to posterior part of tergite 2 (one paratype). Fore wings dark brown infuscated excepting hyaline base and a sharply margined broad hyaline band outside of cells, veins darker brown, posterior part of pterostigma brown, basis hyaline. Body sparsely covered with light hairs. At least posterior margins of tergites (2)3-5 laterally with denser short white hairs. Head slightly longer than broad (fig. 70) including eyes (53 : 50), distinctly broadened behind eyes, lateral sides converging viewed from above (fig. 67), eyes separated from occipital margin by three-quarters eye-length (16 : 19), occipital carina arched (fig. 67); ocelli In a sharp acute angle (fig. 70), hind ocelli separated from each other by a distance about half as long as that between an ocellus and an eye, POL:OOL = 7:13, ocelli with a shallow groove before their outer margins; short frontal sulcus developed just above clypeus; head only weakly shining with dense punctures (fig. 70); eyes very convex, 1.18 times longer than broad (19 : 16), separated from mandibles by hardly shorter distance than two-thirds length of eyes (11 : 12.6); anterior margin of clypeus arcuately protruding and raised into a sharp and high longitudinal keel medially; antennae short, only joints 1-3 elongated, scape slender, longer than joints 2-4 combined, flagellum thick­ened medially, joints 2-3 about twice longer than broad, 4-5, 7-8 and 10 rectangular, joints 6, 9 broader than long, length (and breadth) proportions of antennái joints 1-13 = 25(7): 9(4): 9(5): 5(5): 5(5): 4(5.5): 6(6): 6(6): 5(6.5): 5(5): 5(4.5): 4(4): 7(4).
